William Dias de Souza
Born in Rio de Janeiro, he moved to Manhumirim at the age of 21 when he decided to help his dad who had inherited a piece of land from his grandfather and was planting coffee.

William is the third generation to work these lands. He became a professional and took many courses at SENAR and put everything he learned into practice.
His wife, who is also a third or fourth generation producer, works with him on the property and also takes care of the couple's 3 children.

Since 2015 they began to focus more on quality, and in 2017 it was the year that the first coffees officially classified as special were made.

The property currently has 50% of its area preserved in forests, Septic tanks in the house and make organic compost to reduce input costs for fertilization. Currently the property has a total of 14.45 hectares of coffee.

Coffee entered the family's life as a means of subsistence and today it provides much more than that, as William's family is passionate about working in the fields.
