The Lacerda family is the most awarded coffee producer in Brazil's specialty coffee industry. Producer Afonso Lacerda is the firstborn of the third generation of this iconic family of coffee producers.

Winner of the "Coffee of the Year" competition, Afonso is proud of the fact that his whole family is involved in the production process of the farm.

Forquilha do Rio Farm has a privileged location for growing specialty coffees, in a mountainous region with mild weather year-round, well-distributed rainfall and elevations between 1,100 and 1,400 meters, which helps the fruit ripen more slowly and absorb more sugar.
