Kaká Protásio

Flávio José Protásio de Abreu, better know as Kaká Protasio, is a producer at Sitio Família Protásio. The farm has 9 hectares of coffee plantations at an altitude of 1150 to 1450 meters in the mountains of Caparaó.

Out of love for growing coffee - a cause/vision that started with his great-grandfather - Protásio began working with quality coffee in 2010 to get better value for his product. He focuses not only on the grains, but on all the stages and elements that are important for production.

The estate is focused on preserving the springs and riverbanks, avoiding fires and the use of pesticides. With so much commitment, success was bound to come, as in 2019 he was the winner of the EMATER competition in Mata de Minas
